Take to the road on two wheels with this 3-hour bike tour of London's most famous tourist sights. Explore the heart of the city and more quiet residential areas too.
After getting a comfortable bicycle and helmet you will set off with your guide at a relaxed pace from the starting point near Chancery Lane. You will head over Blackfriars Bridge to the South Bank by the Thames River, home to the Royal Festival Hall and a hub of cultural activity.
After seeing some great views of Big Ben you will head across Lambeth Bridge past the MI5 building and then onto Smith Square (home of government buildings), Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the stunning Royal Parks where the group will take a break by the lake in St. James' Park. You will then pass the Cabinet War Rooms, under Admiralty Arch and visit Trafalgar Square. After the "Street That Time Forgot" (feat. in Harry Potter film No.6) you will cruise through Covent Garden and view the exciting and daring performers at the market.
Heading back east you will pass through Lincoln's Inn Fields before stopping to say hello to Samuel Johnson's cat Hodge in Gough Square. The end of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace can also be seen on the following dates: February 2014, 18th, 20th. March 4th, 6th, 18th and 20th (all other tour dates and times run as scheduled) .
The tour will end back at the bike hire centre near Chancery Lane.
