After you have been picked up from your hotel in Budapest, you will travel west to the Herend Porcelain Manufactory founded in 1826 and specializes in hand painted and gilded porcelain. After you have explored the complex, there will be time for a coffee and shopping.
Next you will travel to Lake Balaton which is the largest fresh water lake in Central Europe where you will visit Tihany Abbey founded in 1055 by Andrew I of Hungary who was buried in the church in 1060. Enjoy the stunning view of the region right beside the lake.
Afterwards, you will go to Balatonfüred which is the oldest spa resort in Hungary and walk along the promenade. The town is located on the northern shore of the lake and is a popular location for coarse fishing. Finally, you will travel back to Budapest where the tour ends.
