Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and one of the largest urban areas in Europe. Straddling the Bosphorus, it is a transcontinental city located in both Europe and Asia. This tour takes you to the Asian side of the city and to some of the most interesting historical and cultural sites.
After picking you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned bus, you will drive to the Asian side of the city (or if your hotel is in the Asian side, you will be picked up once the bus has made the crossing). Once in the Asian side you will head to the Camlica Hill, a spot 268 meters above sea level, and which offers superb views over the city.
Afterwards you will head to Beylerbeyi Palace, which was the summer residence of Ottoman Sultans used in the 19th century. Led by your guide, you will learn about the building and its exterior and interior decoration blending Eastern, Turkish and Western motifs, as well as its history accomodating visiting state dignitaries. Included in the price of the tour is entrance to the palace museum. Once the tour is finished you will be dropped back to your hotel.
