The Bosphorus has been a historically key strategic location for thousands of years and an important trading center along the Silk Road where spices were also brought from the East. Either side of the Straits is the magnificent and historical city of Istanbul which has the unique honour of being located in both Europe and Asia.
Participants can choose between the morning (8:20am - 1:00pm) or the afternoon (1:00pm - 4:30pm) tour and will be picked up from their respective hotel. The first stop on the tour is the Spice Market where you have the opportunity to shop for exotic herbs and spices.
Afterwards, the group will go on a boat cruise across the Bosphorus and make the journey made by countless vessels since the time of the Ancient Greeks. From the sea, you will be able to marvel at the Ottoman architecture, forested hills, bridges and villages on both sides of the Strait. After the tour, all participants will be dropped off at their hotel.
