Am Blomberg 2, 83646 Wackersberg, Deutschland
The tour starts with a cordial mulled wine reception at the Blombergbahn valley station, before taking a chairlift up the mountain. There you will be given a torch to illuminate the route through the wintry mountain landscape. Crunching snow, clear air and a view of the Bavarian Alps serve as the backdrop of the torch hike.
The end point of the hike is the Blomberghaus. There a cabin buffet will be prepared for you to replenish your energy levels. After the meal the Bavarian Olympics begin. The games are comprised of a variety of fun Bavarian disciplines:
- Pretzel knotting
- Hollow hammer nailing
- Milking competition
- Mass holding
- Mass curling
- Snuff hurling
- Log sawing competition
At the end of the event there is a sled run. Equipped with a headlight you will go down a 5.5 km long sled run. You will navigate narrow curves and fast passages down into the valley.
