After you have met with your tour guide, you will travel along central Athens and see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Constitution Square as well as the Panathenaikon Stadium which was the site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Discover the Presidential Palace which was once home to the Greek King until 1975 when a republic was declared.
Afterwards, the group will travel up to the most impressive highlight of Athens - the Acropolis. This was a cultural and religious center for the Ancient Athenians 2,500 years ago and many of the ruins are still identifiable. Here you will find the Parthenon, Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion.
