You will spend the day cycling on a trail built on top of an old railway. Travel through farmland where you will find cows, sheeps and horses. It is recommended that you take a picnic with you. You can cycle towards a lake or visit a lovely hamlet with traditional architecture.
After having a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up by jeep where you will learn more about cork trees, olive trees and olive oil. Once you arrive at the river, you will do some canoeing where you might see some herons, storks and ducks. Then you can visit Évora to have lunch and spend the afternoon in the city before being taken back to your accommodation.
You will check out of the guest house and be transported back to Évora.
The guest house is based on a genuine Alentejo farm which is spacious, comfortable and very welcoming. You will find orchards, vegetable gardens, sheep and olive groves.
All rooms have a different theme including cork, wine, olive tree and wheatfield. They contain a double bed with a bathroom and there is a dining room where you can eat your meals. Regional and home made dinners can be ordered in advance.
There is no wireless internet in the rooms but there is a pen you can use. You can also ask permission to use the WiFi in the office.
